British Columbia issued 16 Skills Immigration invitations through its Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support Initiative on October 15, 2026. The minimum score was 54.
What was announced
The BC Provincial Nominee Program reported that 16 candidates received invitations to apply on October 15, 2026 under the Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support Initiative. Selection was based on points, and the minimum score reported for the draw was 54.
This was an initiative-specific draw. Candidates must still satisfy the applicable BC PNP stream and initiative requirements, including the job, employer-support, qualification, licensing, language and other criteria that apply to their circumstances. BC states that invited candidates generally have up to 30 calendar days to submit a complete provincial application.
What this may mean for applicants
An earlier draw score does not guarantee a future invitation. Health professionals should confirm that their occupation, job offer, employer support, professional registration and rural or remote initiative eligibility align with the current BC PNP program guide before applying.
