Manitoba issued 1,304 Letters of Advice to Apply on October 22, 2026, including selections for Manitoba post-secondary education, eligible Skilled Worker in Manitoba profiles and strategic recruitment initiatives.
What was announced
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program held Expression of Interest Draw #282 on October 22, 2026. It issued 1,304 Letters of Advice to Apply across three selections. Of the total, 353 went to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
Manitoba issued 734 letters to top-scoring profiles declaring that the applicant or their spouse had completed post-secondary education in Manitoba. The lowest-ranked invited profile in this selection had a score of 816. A separate selection considered all eligible Skilled Worker in Manitoba profiles and issued 513 letters at a lowest-ranked score of 846.
The remaining 57 letters went to Skilled Worker in Manitoba or Skilled Worker Overseas profiles that declared a direct MPNP invitation under a strategic recruitment initiative. These included Employer Services, Ethnocultural Communities, the Francophone Community, Regional Communities and the temporary public policy for prospective Provincial Nominee Program candidates.
What this may mean for applicants
A Letter of Advice to Apply allows a selected candidate to submit a full MPNP application; it is not a provincial nomination or permanent residence approval. Candidates should confirm that their EOI declarations, Manitoba education, language results, Express Entry information and strategic-recruitment details remain valid and can be documented before applying.
