Newfoundland and Labrador Issues 25 Immigration Invitations

Newfoundland and Labrador issued 25 invitations on November 4, 2026: 24 through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program and 1 through the Atlantic Immigration Program.
What was announced
The Newfoundland and Labrador Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism reported 25 invitations to apply in its November 4, 2026 selection batch. The province issued 24 invitations through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program and 1 through the Atlantic Immigration Program.
The province uses an Expression of Interest model for economic immigration applications and issues invitations in batches. Published prioritization criteria may include health and health-related occupations, rural and regional employment, underrepresented occupations, employers with a strong compliance and retention record, candidates with provincial ties, Newfoundland and Labrador graduates, Francophone candidates and strong settlement supports.
The criteria are considered together, may change with labour-market needs and available allocations, and do not guarantee an invitation. The province did not publish a score threshold, stream breakdown or occupational breakdown for the November 4 batch.
What this may mean for applicants
An invitation allows the selected person to submit the applicable provincial application; it is not a nomination or permanent residence approval. Before applying, confirm the relevant NLPNP or AIP requirements, job and employer eligibility, settlement plan and supporting documents, and ensure that every Expression of Interest declaration remains accurate.
